We had the best time yesterday! Wow.... Jamie gives a great performance!!!!

 

Me and my friend Nancy arrived much later then planned....because I forgot the tickets so we had to go back by train...  But my friend Michael was so kind to pick up the tickets at my house and drop them off at the station   Exactly 1 hour later we took another train, arriving at the Zuiderpark around 4 pm (we left home at 1 pm....).

 

After collecting our picnic we were so lucky we could find a good spot to drop our blanket, not too far from the stage. Really amazing because the park was packed!!! The picnic itself was not much, the sandwiches ran out, we just had the princkles to eat... We bought some food and drinks and then it was time to relax and enjoy the music, I loved The New Collective!

 

Just before The New Collective stopped we took our bags and found a good spot just in front of the stage, just 2 or 3 rows in front of us 

 

And then... Jamie... WOWWWW!!!! I love his music, listen to it so much (my weekend ritual: waking up with a cup of coffee and Jamie ) but seeing him perform was amazing!!!! I do have the dvd of his concert at Blenheim Palace so I had a good idea what to expect but when you're in the audience you get 'high' 

 

I loved every part of it... but one moment was very special: just before one song (can't remember which one   ) he told the audience about the caranaval in London (in 3 weeks time) and that this song will start quiet but at the end he want's the audience to dance likes it's carnaval and shake their hips like... ME... He pointed at me and mentioned me as the 'lady in pink'  Yes, I was dancing the whole show and singing along, I was just so happy and excited!!! You can imagine how I felt after this... haha 

 

Too bad we couldn't stay too long after his show, we had to get back by train... I wish I was there when he came back with DJ Meastro... Oh well, we had a great time and I might see him again, somewhere in France or Germany, I wanna see him perform again  :)

 

The journey home took so long... After a day of sun, excitment and a few drinks I fell a sleep in the train... I woke up at Almere thinking it was Lelystad and got out the train quickly... Too late I realized that I got out too soon... so I had to wait for another train... Fortunately I wasn't in the last train...  At 1 am I finally got in bed waking up to early to go to work...

 

In some ways I was unlucky this day (tickets and trains) but in others ways it was a perfect day
